Introduction Cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis as an adjuvant to pharmacological treatment has been shown be one of the most effective interventions schizophrenia with benefits noted in even resistant schizophrenia. Benefits have mostly registered positive symptoms domain Acceptance and commitment is a third generation Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, empirically supported range conditions, including psychosis, quickly increasing data. It targets experiential avoidance, which seems closely related psychopathology. Its ability also target affective can important advantage psychosis. Objectives To critically review evidence acceptance Methods Non-systematic literature selection scientific articles published past 10 years; by searching Pubmed Medscape databases using combination MeSH descriptors.
